Kyle Walker, Premier League giants Manchester City star, on Thursday made an amusing claim on photo-sharing application Instagram following his side’s 9-0 win in EFL Cup.

Walker, who plays full-back for the Sky Blues, took to Instagram on Thursday after his side’s epic win over Burton Albion in the English League Cup semi-final first leg where he called himself better than both the footballing greats of this generation – Barcelona star Lionel Messi and Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

Highlighting a rather interesting difference between him and Messi-Ronaldo, Walker wrote, “Goals in 2019:

Walker: 1

Ronaldo: 0

Goals in Carabao Cup:

Walker: 1

Messi: 0

End of discussion?”

Both Messi and Ronaldo were neck-to-neck in terms of goal scored in 2018. While Messi scored 51 goals for his club and country combined, CR7 was right behind at second with 49 goals.
