Earlier today, Rihannashared some footage of herself in the studio, which signals that her ninth studio album may be on the way sooner than we think. The upcoming work has been confirmed for a 2019 release but the exact timing of its arrival is not yet known.
As for RiRi’s other business ventures, lingerie and make-up have been working phenomenally for her. The singer took a break from releasing any music last year to focus almost solely on the marketing for both of her brands.
It all paid off too with Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty being two major product offerings now. When Rihanna wanted to promote her holiday sales in November and December, she opted to share photos of herself wearing her lingerie line. It seems to have worked out because the same strategy is being utilized by the pop star with Valentine’s Day coming up.
While it may not be a national holiday, V-Day is celebrated across North America as a day we can dedicate to our significant others. There’s a lot of money to be made for businesses on Valentine’s Day as chocolates, flowers, cards, and lingerie will all see a spike in sales for that one day.
